Abstract

Background
Low back pain (LBP) is a condition characterized by degenerative changes in the spine, including
intervertebral discs and ligaments. This degeneration leads to increased impairment, reduced productivity,
and increased healthcare costs. Risk factors for disc degeneration include genetic factors, mechanical stress,
and injury. Imaging procedures like X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs are used to diagnose intervertebral disc
diseases.
