Abstract

Biofortification is an integrated approach to improve food's nutritional value, address common nutrient deficiencies,
and support global food security. It was found through biofortification that the micronutrient concentrations were
greatly enhanced by the application of zinc fertilizer. Long-term micronutrient availability may be possible with this
sustainable, dependable, and reasonably priced method.
